Family Portrait

64 layers, 16 hours, and one song looping endlessly... equals one Kat on the brink of insanity, and this.

I was listening to the song "Family Portrait" by Pink- (This is the ONLY song of hers I like, and I LOVE IT TO DEATH. Sad, isn't it?) and was suddenly reminded of my character James' family. Sylvia, Cliffgard, James, Mack, Melissa, and Tyler (Heath). I could- (and would, trust me) explain how and why each character fits this song and how they entire family seems pretty screwed, but that would take me A LONG, LONG, LONG time, so I'll spare you. All I'll tell you for now is that NONE of them seem to get along, and that Cliff is an abusive husband. XP

But instead, I'll tell you about the picture itself! Four words: Good. God. Never. Again. ._0;
The most layers I've ever had before this was 30 something. I've officially DOUBLED that record with this pic. I hope I NEVER have to do that again.
I CANNOT seem to draw James without him looking GIRLISH! WHY? Eh, Sylvia came out the best, which is funny, considering this is my first time drawing her.

Right, just so you know who's who... Sylvia and Cliffgard are the two tall ones, being that they're the parents; and the kids are, from left to right: James, Melissa, Tyler, and Mack. And if you look, (and this is true for Sylvia and Cliff, too) the characters height is correspondant to their age. Meaning: The taller, the older. XD I swear, I just noticed that, and it wasn't intentional, but I guess it makes sense, doesn't it?

I couldn't resist putting the crack in the glass, there, because it just FIT. X3 It was just BEGGING for me to add some hint of that picture not telling the whole truth... and while I'm at it, here's the part of the song that, specifically, this picture matches...
