Betcha you never saw this coming. Yes indeed, Kat- the ultimate wussy by any standard, who goes running from the room at just the mention of things that aren't really even scary at all, is actually playing through the Resident Evil remake for the GC. Be afraid... be VERY afraid... You see, my good friend ~Scott-Cameron was telling me about the story involved in this game, (which is pretty darn deep. XD GOOD story. Evil game.) and got me interested in all this nonsense, and then he went out and actually got it for me! (RATS! Now I have to REALLY pretend I'm interested! *shot*) Just kidding. XD Like I said: GOOD story, evil game.

Anywho, I started playing it yesterday, and needless to say, I was scared senseless. I got maybe 5 minutes into the game- (3 of those 5 minutes I spent learning how to shoot.) and then wandered away from it to re-compose myself. (I am cheating and using Action Replay, by the way. Maximum Health, Endless Saves, and Full Ammo.) XD You think I'd be confident with this by now! I'm the unstoppable menace to all that stalk the night! ...but the game still knows to kill you when something tries to eat your face off. Which isn't fair. *shot*

But I digress. XD On to the actual picture! After playing through about 15 or so more minutes of the game, and actually getting somewhere- (Is this something important? ZOMBIE! *blasts zombie* ...let's leave this room... like... NOW. *leaves behind important items*) and talking for hours with Scott about the story and blah blah blah, I'm actually really interested in this whole idea. I'm scared senseless by it, but it's still cool! XD *shot*

So anyway, I stayed up until somthing like 2 a.m. drawing this- Kat and Tails, Resident Evil style. Their clothing is only BASED on Chris and Jill's uniforms, by the way. I wasn't really trying to be exact, it was just a guide. Though I did pretty good on Kat's uniform looking almost exactly like Jill's... *mumbles*
You'll have to excuse the poor quality of the facial expressions and in that area in general- I broke my normal habits and filled in most of that detail last, after I'd already tired my efforts on the clothing details n'such.

Then I added some extra shading in photoshop, because it just looked better that way. And YES, this is a FINISHED deviation. ...unless I color it. XD Which I probably won't. Maybe I'll greyscale it...

EDIT: Okay, NOW it's a finished deviation. I decided to go ahead and color it, so now it actually is worthy of the +favs it's gotten so far. XD Yay for the wonderful masterful thing that is the layer setting "multiply" ^^ It makes coloring so quick and easy... And the pencil sketchiness was left on purpose, btw. Makes it look more... evil... or something... I don't know. It just looks cooler this way. XD
