Tails The Daddeh - Tails+Terr

(Ph34r mah boring titles... PH34R THEM, I SAY! )

This was just a random idea I had at something like 2 a.m. earlier this week, and since I don't think I've EVER managed to draw a proper father/son picture with any of my characters, I really wanted to try this. Tails, all growed up and in his twenties, (yeah, I know, he doesn't look much older, but work with me, here...) with his son Terrell. ^^ *pets little Terr* Isshn't he jus' the kyutest thing?

Some of my less-recent devwatchers might remember Tails' outfit here from an earlier picture where I was trying to come up with his older-design. Personally, I've grown to like it a lot. It really looks to me like a pretty accurate mechanic-ish type outfit, and it just fits Tails' role pretty well. =3 Besides, Tails just looks good in blue and grey.

And I'm extaordinarily proud of the fuzz at the base of Tails' ear, too... XD Fuzzeh-nush makes Kat a happy foxeh. *gets awkward stares from various people* ...what!? I'm allowed to gush senselessly over my own artwork! XD Really, I am! Dun look at me in that tone of voice!

I also went the lazy route, and never actually inked this in any way whatsoever. I just made the lineart a bit darker, through various filters in Photoshop, and the multiply setting, and blah blah blah excuse. The end result makes Tails look a little more like he's been working at his garage, though, so it works for me. An' widdle Terr ish jus' too precious for words... ^__^ *huggles teh baby foxeh* My only complaint is that I made the brown fur coloring on his hands just a little bit too dark. Eh... well, I'll keep it in mind for next time. ^^
